Do our drivers speak English or other languages?
Yes, our drivers speak fluent English, some are native speakers, as well as also having knowledge of Spanish, German and French. Upon request we provide escorts speaking almost any language.
Are cars safe?
The cars we use are all newly registered, safe, reliable to travel in comfort! Each car is equipped with municipal permission, and drivers are entitled by having passed specific exams. They are all equipped with air conditioned, radio cd, darkned windows for more privacy, leather seats, sat navigator, cell phone.
Can You also provide hotel reservations, or else?
We are part of the travel Agency "Lost & Found Travel" for years in the tourist market: and this is why through our booking office it is possible to book any hotel, farmhouse, Spa, or else in Tuscany and throughout Italy. We can also provide for air, rail and ship reservations and ticketing. We are also entitled to reservations for events & shows throughout Italy, or we can help you reserve a table at any restaurant, or the entrance in museums, etc.etc...
How can I get a service guaranteed?
Once received the application form, filled in any part, we will send You all the details as well as the cost, our "Terms & Conditions" and "Cancellation Policy". This itinerary can be safely deleted, changed or modified according to your specific needs, until your final confirmation that is when we receive the details of your credit card for secure your reservation. You'll then receive our voucher certifying the reservation, that You'll deliver to our driver at the beginning of the service.
How to pay the balance to the driver?
The balance can be paid cash or by credit card through our cordless terminal. In this last case, however, we are obliged to apply a 3% extra. The driver will give You the receipt of Your payment.
Can I suggest the route?
Of course! If you have any preferred itinerary or You want to modify one of ours, there is absolutely no problem.
Can I change the route once confirmed?
Of course, the important thing is that the new route remains of the same duration/date of the previous one. More details in our "Cancellation Policy".
Can I change date of the itinerary once confirmed?
Once the service is confirmed it is possible to change the date depending on availability. If a vehicle is available there is no problem, in case not we are obliged to apply penalties as per our "Cancellation Policy".
Are your vehicles full insured?
As requested from the Italian law, all vehicles are covered by insurance; the drivers have all the license and permits required.
What is included in the price?
The price (for vehicle and NOT for person!) pick up and drop off where and when required, a private air-conditioned vehicle with and an English speaking driver at your disposal for the whole duration of the service, including all taxes, tolls and gasoline.
Our prices do not include meals, tips, entrance tickets to museums when required or other customers expenses.
Where will I find my driver?
In ports, trains stations or airports your driver will be waiting for you showing a sign with your name on it; if you stay in hotel he will look for you in the lobby; if you stay in a private house or villa, he will simply come to your address.
Do you supply for baby seats?
Families are welcome, that's why we can supply for baby seats (from 1 to 5 years age) and stroller, without any charge.
When will you charge my credit card?
We only take an authorization on the card to guarantee funds availability, it will show as "Pending funds" if you check your credit card account statement. We will then only charge your card 15 days before the day of the ride, in case you decided to pay by credit card. In case you decided to pay by cash, the payment will be at the end of the service directly to the driver. For this last option, the credit card will be charged only in case of no-show, or cancellation after the dead line (as per our "Cancellation Policy")
Do you require a deposit?
No, but a credit card is required to guarantee your reservation.
Can we pay with more than one credit card?
Yes! You can pay with up to two cards per tour. Or multiple tours can be charged separately on separate cards.
How much should we tip?
Count on a tip in the amount of 10-15% of the tour price, if you are pleased with the service. (We're sure you will be!) Tips to your driver or guide are not included in the tour price.
Can I invite more people from the cruise?
Yes, if space is available for your confirmed vehicle. Example: If you confirmed a vehicle that seats eight people, you can invite others up to the limit of eight. Remember that prepaid entrance fees (if required) are only included for the original number you submitted with your reservation

We are happy to support bona fide travel professionals. Please send us an email with your agency name, phone number and Industry ID number and we will send you details as to how we can work together.
If I book more than 1 daily tour, do I get a discount?
Yes, of course! If you book more than 1 daily tour we are pleased to offer you a 10% discont on the next tour!
Lost & Found
We are not responsible for items left in the vehicle. Please be sure to inspect your belongings, the back of the vehicle and the trunk, before dismissing your chauffeur. As a courtesy to our clients, we will make any effort to locate your "lost" items. We will send them to you at you own expense, or your are welcome to have it picked up from our offices in Florence.
Can I change an option (or more) on one of your suggested private tours?
Yes you can. These tours are fully customizable. In fact we offer a varied list of optional activities to replace or add to the ones suggested on the tours. If you do not find what you are looking for on our list, we can make further arrangements just for you.
What is Custom Your Tour?
Custom trip planning is what we specialize in. Our tour designers will work with you to create the ideal trip for you based on your interests and budget. Knowledge and contacts are everything in coordinating a successful customized trip. We live here in Italy so we can handle all details, from the most basic to the most personalized request.
How does the booking process work?
Once you contact us, and in case you want to customize the tour, your tour designer will work with you to create an itinerary that suits your needs and budget. Once you approve the program and confirm your dates, we will book the accommodations. At this point, or if you want to book one of our pre-designed tours, we require a 30% deposit to hold the space in the hotels. The final payment is due 45 days prior to your departure. A personalized and detailed day by day itinerary will be sent to you approximately two to three weeks prior to your departure with all necessary contact informations.
Your prices are in Euros. How do you calculate the final amount of the trip in US or other currency?
The USD or other currency will be calculated for the deposit at the applicable current exchange rate as per our currency broker. The balance is due on or before 45 days prior to the start of the program. The USD or other currency amount for the balance will be calculated at current exchange rates at the time of your payment.
Is it safe to travel in Italy?
Italy is a very safe country, renown for its warm friendly people. Having said that, you must use caution in large cities around tourist areas where tourists can become magnets for pick pockets. Common sense precautions will help you to avoid unpleasant situations.
Do I need a VISA to visit Italy?
If you are a Canadian or US citizen you need only a valid passport. The passport should be valid for six months after the date of travel. Other nationalities should check with the Italian Embassy or consular office for Visa requirements from their countries.
When is the best time to visit Italy?
Italy is a year round destination. The climate is very moderate all year long but there is a winter, spring, and summer.
April to end of June, and September to end of October, are the best months for weather. Not too hot or rainy. For bargains, off season is great - November to March and also the month of August for city hotels.
What are the must see cities for a first time traveller to Italy?
Whatever you choose to see in Italy will be worth while and a wonderful experience. However, for a first trip we would strongly suggest you visit the 3 main art cities; Rome: ideally 3 days to visit St. Peters, The Vatican & Sistine Chapel, and the Colosseum and Roman Forum. Florence: 2 days to see the main sites, 3 days if you want to visit the Uffizi Gallery which is one of the most important museums of the world, or if you want to take an excursion into the countryside. Can I use my hairdryer, curling iron, etc in Italy?
In Italy the voltage is 220 and in North America it is 110. The electrical sockets are round not flat. So in order to use your personal appliance you need a conversion plug and if the appliance is not dual voltage, a converter. You can purchase a kit with everything you need from you local travel shop or in the luggage section of your local department store or at most airports. You should note that most of our hotels have hair dryers in the bathrooms.
Can I use my ATM card in Italy?
Yes you can. You will need a 4 digit pin number. We suggest that you also bring with you some cash to start .

We select our hotels from 3 -star to 5-star deluxe, based on cleanliness, friendliness and helpfulness of the staff, location, and best value for the dollar. Our staff visits hotels yearly to make sure that the standards remain high. Our clients benefit from our quality control checks and from our long standing relationship with our partner hotels.
We have points with a hotel chain, can we use your services if we book hotels with our points?
We will be happy to work with clients who want to use their own hotels because of points or other reasons. However, we cannot vouch or be responsible for any problems with hotels not contracted by us directly.
